Gary has been with Ayotte Decker, LLC since 2007, and has been a partner since 2021. Prior to joining Ayotte Decker, he was a manager or senior manager at small-and-medium-sized CPA firms in the Chicago area. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a degree in managerial accounting.
Gary has extensive experience performing audits, reviews, and compilations for corporations, non-profit organizations, and employee benefit plans, as well as various services related to those engagements. He prepares corporate, exempt organization, trust, and individual tax returns as well as high-level tax planning services. He provides those services to a wide variety of industries that encompass most industry types.
Gary is the firm’s Quality Control partner and is responsible for the external peer review of the auditing and accounting practice. With 45 years of experience, he is able to provide clients with the knowledge to solve their planning issues and improve their business operations, and with the personal service that his small and medium-sized businesses need.
Gary is a member of the AICPA and lllinois CPA societies and was a past President of the Fox Valley Chapter of the lllinois CPA Society. He is also a member of the non-profit and employee benefit plan audit quality sections of the AICPA.
He is a long-time resident of Wheaton and enjoys spending time with family, golfing, running, and that team “Up North.”
